Trinamool leading in Bengal, BJP in Bihar: Opinion poll

New Delhi: The ruling Trinamool Congress in West Bengal could win up to 29 Lok Sabha seats in the state, while the BJP-led alliance would be ahead of its rivals in Bihar, an opinion poll

In Odisha, the opinion poll said the ruling BJD was projected to get 10-16 seats while the BJP could win 3-7 seats and Congress could get up to four seats.

The poll said the BJP was projected to get 44 percent votes in Jharkhand compared to 30 percent by the Congress-Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-RJD alliance.

In Assam, the ruling Congress was projected to get 44 percent votes while the BJP 19 percent, if elections were held today.

It said the All India United Democratic Front could get 10 percent votes while the Asom Gana Parishad was likely to get 11 percent votes.
