Rampur (UP): Days after Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh's genial interaction at a function in Lucknow, senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan today said he was tight-lipped due to his respect for the party supremo.
Yadav and Singh had shared dais and were seated next to each other at foundation ceremony of a 1000-bedded super specialty hospital in Lucknow on October 15. Khan, who is strongly opposed to Singh, was conspicuous by his absence.

Asked about Yadav-Singh meeting, he said, "I have been maintaining silence due to my deepest regard for Netaji and also tolerating many things. If compelled to speak, my utterances would be indigestible."
On his reported allegation that Singh along with BJP MLA Sangeet Som was hatching a "conspiracy to eliminate him", he said, "Time will tell whose life was in danger due to whom."
