Lucknow: In a veiled attack on BJP, senior SP leader Mohd Azam Khan today said that those given power by people of the country in the name of development were dividing society and acting against unity.
“Those who were given power by people of the country in the name of development are trying to divide society and acting against brotherhood. They are creating hatred...,” Khan said while attacking the BJP without taking its name.
He was addressing a gathering here while inaugurating a number of developmental projects here. “The development of the country is only mentioned in foreign but there is no such thing on the ground,” Khan said, adding that only UP government in the state was committed to development and fulfilled all its promises made in 2012 election manifesto.
