New Delhi: The newly appointed deputy chief minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday broke his silence over his criticism and said that no one should judge a book by its cover.

“No one should try judging a book by its cover. Potential, like sweet nectar & bitter medicine takes time to show its real benefit,” Tejashwi wrote on his Twitter account.

Adding that he will work hard for development of Bihar, Tejashwi said, “I will leave no stone unturned for development & to increase the value of Brand Bihar,so that @NitishKumar can be proud of me as his deputy.”

Expressing his trust in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, he said, “Rest assured that vigor & liveliness of youth in Bihar Cabinet will be ably guided n utilized by tested CM, for the welfare of ppl of Bihar.”

Tejaswhi, the younger son of former Bihar Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, also hit out at his critics and said, “Cynic, biased ones with vested interest will always be dismissive but stakeholders-people of Bihar-will reap fruits trust shown in youth.”

Tejaswhi, who dropped out of school in class 9th, took oath as a minister in Bihar and was announced by Nitish as his deputy.

A first time MLA, Tejashwi has been given charge of important ministry such as road construction, building constructions and backward class development.
