New Delhi: A video of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visiting a tantric baba has gone viral on social media.

In the video, baba was seen raising slogans against Nitish's one-time arch-rival-turned-friend RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Nitish remained silent when the baba raised slogan - 'Lalu murdabad'.

The baba, as shown in the video, expressed unhappiness over Nitish's decision to join hands with Lalu. He also took the opportunity to remind Nitish about his responsibilities.

The baba later raised slogans in favour of Kumar to please him.

JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar, who was also present at the moment, intervened and asked the baba to bless Kumar.

Firebrand BJP leader Giriraj Singh, who released the video, said that Nitish had gone to seek the blessings of baba so that he can get rid of Lalu.

"He has gone there to get rid of Lalu. This is the beginning of his downfall. He doesn't have faith in the people. Nitish has three faces, not two," he said.

Speaking on the row, Nitish Kumar said, “An Aughad Baba is in contacts with Neeraj Kumar. I went there on his request. I am saying nothing in the video. Did I say that I am in trouble, help me? Doesn't anyone kiss a son?"

"It occurred in June last year.  If he was saying something about Lalu, did I agree to it? We are together,”he added.
