New Delhi: Sushma Swaraj, who is facing flak for helping Lalit Modi in getting travel documents from UK to Portugal, got some support today on the social networking site twitter.
It all started when Sushma Swaraj angrily reacted to a tweet suggesting she took favors to get her daughter a seat in a medical college through the northeast quota.
An anonymous handle 'Soch @pakoed' had tweeted: "Sushma is no stranger to taking and giving favours! Her daughter studied through NorthEast quota in medical college."
Sushma impulsively responded to the stray tweet, saying "My daughter is a barrister and Oxford graduate. What you say is absolutely false”.
Soon after her response, Twitteratis got into action and defended the external affairs minister whereas the anonymous handle 'Soch @pakoed' deleted the account on twitter, though his/her tweet have been retweeted by others.
