So, what Akhilesh Yadav did on Tuesday? He pushed the button in Lucknow, 454 kilometres away,  to launch projects worth Rs 3,337 crore for Noida and Greater Noida. The projects included new affordable housing projects in Noida and Greater Noida, a sewage treatment plant, two power generation units, a government inter college for girls, a medical university and a 200-bed district hospital with a trauma centre.

Yadav launched projects for two power sub-stations of 400kv each in Noida's sectors 123 and 148, multi-level parking with capacity of 3,000 cars in the posh Sector 18, 35 mid-sewage treatment plant in Sec 123, four-laned underpasses in sectors 32, 35, 39 and 51, a 200-bed district hospital in sector 39, and a destitute and girls' home.
