Pointing out that the newly-carved out Telangana State is not without people from Seemandhra region, he said insecurity among Telugu people in Telangana will have bearing on the reputation of Telangana.
“Telangana, even after bifurcation is not without the population, which has come from Seemandhra.
So sense of insecurity among Telugu people living in Telangana is not going to enhance the prestige and reputation of either Telangana or Telangana government,” he added.
Rao also underlined that both the States must understand the interests of their counterparts and should not fight for small issues, which could be resolved through reconciliation.
On representation for Telangana in the union cabinet, Rao was confident that the Narendra Modi's Government will look into the matter and address the issue.
