Hyderabad, Sep 22:  Even as the Congress party continued consultations over the Telangana issue in New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy Saturday said finding a solution to the issue was not easy.

He told reporters here that it is difficult to give a deadline for a decision on the sensitive issue of separate Telangana state. He said the Congress would first take a stand on Telangana and then the party-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government would take a decision.

Stating that the process of consultation on the issue is on, the chief minister pointed out that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao is camping in the national capital.

The chief minister said the central government had not summoned him to Delhi on Sunday. “I will give my opinion on the issue whenever the high command asks me to do so,” he said.

He hoped that the central government would give a clarity on Telangana issue. “Uncertainty is part of life. Today's situation may not be there tomorrow,” remarked Reddy, who hails from Rayalaseema region.

On the Congress leaders from Andhra and Rayalaseema regions holding a meeting in Hyderabad, the chief minister said they had a right to express their opinion.

Kiran Kumar Reddy appealed to Telangana Joint Action Committee (JAC) to postpone their Sep 30 Hyderabad march in view of Ganesh immersion procession on Sep 29 and the global biodiversity meet beginning on Oct 1.
