Mumbai: The Shiv Sena has threatened to disrupt Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali's proposed live concerts in Mumbai and Pune this week, a top party official said here on Wednesday.
"We have met and asked the authorities at Shanmukhananda Hall, Matunga, to cancel the proposed show on October 9, failing which we shall protest in our style," Shiv Sena film wing Chitrapat Sena President Aadesh Bandekar told IANS.
Besides, Bandekar said the party would also protest and stop a similar concert scheduled in Pune on October 10 as part of the fourth death anniversary tribute to the late singer Jagjit Singh.
Interestingly, both the concerts have reported a near-total sell-out and have been the topic of much discussions on social media network for last few days.
