Mumbai, Nov 17: Shiv Sena chief Bal Keshav Thackeray, Maharashtra's militant flagbearer of Hindu nationalism and regional chauvinism who did not hesitate to resort to mob tactics to have his will enforced, died here Saturday. He was 86.
Thackeray passed away at 3.33 p.m., his doctor Jaleel Parker told a massive crowd outside his residence Matoshri, a Mumbai landmark.
