Jalna: An application has been filed for registering an offence against Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse for his recent derogatory remarks against farmers and peasants, police sources said here today.
Police Inspector of the Jafarabad police station Vishnu Gaware said that the Shiv Sena's tehsil chief Suresh Gawali had filed an application asking to register an offence against Maharashtra Revenue Minister Eknath Khadse for allegedly insulting farmers.
Speaking to PTI, Gaware said that a decision would be taken whether to book Khadse or not after the matter is investigated.
A second change has proposed at Sultan Bazar where the Chief Minister favoured a different route which goes behind the women's college, from Badichowdi, to reach Imblibun.
Observing that several places of worship and 1,000 houses would be affected in the old city of Hyderabad as per the present alignment, the chief minister sought a new route which does not affect them, the release said.
Earlier, L&T had written a letter to the Telangana state government “requesting” it to resolve pending issues regarding right of way and other issues. The project envisages construction of the over Rs 15,000 crore 72-km elevated metro rail in the city.
