Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Wednesday cautioned people against indulging in religious discrimination.
"I request you to not indulge in Hindu-Muslim differentiation," Banerjee said in Diamond Harbour of South 24-Parganas district.
Obviously referring to the communal clashes in Uttar Pradesh, she said: "Such incidents do not happen in Bengal where members of both communities participate in the festive revelry.
