A prominent face of Youth Wing of Congress party, Sachin became the youngest MP of the country in 2004 after his victory from Dausa Lok Sabha constituency in Rajasthan.
In 2009, he defeated BJP's Kiran Maheshwwari with a margin of 76,000 votes from Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency.
