He also expressed hope that the martyr's wife will be provided a job by the CRPF and if required, Delhi government will also offer her a job.

“He (Narottam) laid his life for all of us. Our duty to ensure his family taken care of. Del govt will provide fin supprt Rs 1 crore to bereaved family (SIC),” Kejriwal tweeted.

The Delhi CM said that he has assured Narottam's wife of all support.

The incident had happened near Nandai on Imamganj - Dumaria route while the paramilitary jawans and police personnel were moving during an anti-naxal operation.

The Maoists had planted an IED on the route and triggered it off when a mini-bus carrying CRPF personnel was passing over it.

The CRPF DIG had said the families of the slain personnel will receive around Rs 80 lakh each including Rs 20 lakh of insurance money and Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia declared by the Bihar government.
