Galla Jayadev tops the list of the wealthiest Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha. He is not only a politician but also an Indian business executive from Andhra Pradesh. He is a member of Telugu Desam Party. He has learned politics from his mother.
 
Galla Jayadev won the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections from Guntur lok Sabha Constituency in Andhra Pradesh against YSR Congress Party candidate Balashowry Vallabhaneni. He won by a margin of 69,633.
 
Galla Jayadev was born in Diguvamagham, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh to Ramachandra Naidu Galla and Aruna Kumari Galla. His father is an industrialist who founded the Amara Raja Group.  His grandfather Paturi Rajagopala Naidu was a former Indian parliamentarian.
 
Galla Jayadev is the Managing Director of Amara Raja Group.
 
Galla Jayadev shifted to USA and he lived there for around 22 years. He was an extremely bright student. Galla studied politics and Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Later he decided to walk in his mother's path and joined politics. On 8th March 2014, Galla Jayadev joined the Telugu Desam Party and just as he has been successful in every other work that he undertakes, he emerged victorious here too. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but has never failed o work hard.
