New Delhi/Patna: India TV in its primetime programme Aaj Ki Baat on Friday night revealed the names of BJP candidates selected for contesting for the Lok Sabha elections from Bihar.
Actor Shatrughan Sinha will contest from Patna Sahib, party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain from Bhagalpur, former cricketer Kirti Azad from Darbhanga, Hukumdeo Narayan Yadav from Madhubani, Bhola Singh from Begusarai, Giriraj Singh from Nawada and another spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy will contest from Saran seat - all traditional seats.
The Bihar unit of BJP has finalised the names of candidates for 25 out of 30 seats, after giving seven seats to Ramvilas Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party.
All current BJP MPs from Bihar will get tickets.
Former Home Secretary R K Singh will contest from Ara, Ajay Nishad from Muzaffarpur, Omprakash Singh from Siwan, Sushil Kumar Singh from Aurangabad, Nawal Kumar Yadav from Pataliputra, Manoj Tiwari from Buxar, Chhedi Paswan from Sasaram, R S Pandey from Valmikinagar, Janakram from Gopalganj, Putul Kumari from Banka and Jitendra Swami from Maharajganj.
Only Bhola Singh, the current MP from Nawada, will now contest from Begusarai. In his place, Giriraj Singh will contest from Nawada.
