Bhopal: AAP leader Kumar Vishwas has dared BJP president Rajnath Singh and the saffron party's PM nominee Narendra Modi to contest Lok Sabha elections from Amethi, constituency of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

"Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi think of themselves as powerful leaders...they must contest the Lok Sabha elections from Amethi," Vishwas told reporters.

Aam Aadmi Party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal fought his maiden election from New Delhiconstituency of former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, defeating her by a huge margin of votes. Vishwas' name has been doing the rounds as a probable candidate to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Amethi.

The AAP leader compared Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, saying both may be honest, but ministers under them were corrupt.

"Just as Manmohan may be honest, but ministers under him are corrupt, similarly Chouhan can be honest but ministers under him are corrupt," the AAP leader told reporters. Vishwas said BJP, particularly its leader Nitin Gadkari, was floating all kinds of theories about Congress giving support to AAP.

He said the truth was that BJP had spent a lot of money for the assembly elections in New Delhi which it had now lost and hence it was saying all sorts of things.
