New Delhi: Home Minister Rajnath Singh today spoke to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and took stock of the situation in the state after 42 people were killed when a tropical storm ravaged several districts.
During the telephonic conversation, the Home Minister assured the state of all possible help to deal with the situation.
The Bihar Chief Minister apprised the Home Minister about the situation after the storm hit the state, officials said here.
Kumar also told Singh that he has visited the storm-hit areas to take stock of the situation.
At least 42 persons were killed and over 80 seriously injured when a tropical storm ravaged 12 districts of Bihar last night.
