Varanasi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today sought the support of opposition parties in passing key bills during the ongoing Winter session of Parliament.
The Union Minister appealed to opposition leaders to cooperate in the smooth functioning of Parliament so that important and pending bills may get passed in the larger interest of the country.

He also hoped that the opposition would pay heed to the appeal of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi in this regard.
Attending a function at Uday Pratap Autonomous College, Singh said Indian culture played an important role in the development of the country and appealed to students for their better character building.
He also said that the existing education system nowadays is making students more career oriented, whereas there is a need to rethink about the role of ancient education system, which focused more on promoting cultural and moral values.
