Rajasthan polls: Opposition parties are anti-poor, says Rahul Gandhi

"They think that development of roads, rail lines and airports will change the country... We also want to develop infrastructure but we want the poor to be part of this growth," Gandhi said.

"In fact," he added, "we did more infrastructure development then the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) did during its regime."

His reference was to the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA regime that ruled India from 1998 to 2004.
