Jodhpur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has said that she will tour all divisional headquarters in the state to seek suggestions from public representatives and the people for drawing up a budget that addresses the needs and necessities of the public.
She said that towards that end, she has initiated a dialogue with public representatives in the state in order to seek their suggestions and opinions.
"I will be touring all the divisional headquarters in order to seek the suggestions and learn of the demands of public representatives and the people with a view to incorporate them in the upcoming budget," Raje said at a meeting here this afternoon.
The meeting lasted for over five hours and was attended by core committee members of the ruling BJP from Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer along with district administration and police officials.
Raje told them that the upcoming budget should be a purely people's budget.
She asked them to start preparing their proposals to facilitate the drawing up of a "people-friendly budget" that would ensure inclusive development of all the constituencies.
Raje, meanwhile, told party leaders that no work at the organisation and government-level would be executed without coordination between the core committee and the party.
She also assured them that the next Cabinet meeting would be held in Jodhpur soon.
Raje said that an Electronic Information Display system will soon be installed in Jodhpur with a view to apprise the people of the achievements and tasks carried out by the state government in the past two years.
