Jaipur: Counting of votes in 199 Assembly constituencies of Rajasthan, which went to poll on December 1, will take place amid tight security arrangements tomorrow. Altogether 37 centres across the state have been set up for counting of votes in 33 districts, a CEO spokesman said today.
Of 4.08 crores electors, 75.20 per cent exercised their franchise to elect 199 MLAs out of 2,087 contestants. Polling in Churu constituency, which was adjourned following the death of BSP candidate Jagdish Meghwal, will now take place on December 13 and counting will be on December 16. In the state capital, counting of votes cast in 19 constituencies will take place in Rajasthan college and Commerce college.
