Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Tuesday accused the central government of neglecting her state in the railway budget.
"West Bengal has been neglected and humiliated by the new government," Banerjee said on her official Facebook page.
"Has anyone seen such neglect and humiliation ever," she wondered.
Railway Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda presented the railway budget for 2014-15 in parliament earlier during the day.
In Lok Sabha, TMC members rushed to the well and protested against the Rail Budget which, according to them, has completely overlooked the demands of West Bengal.
The TMC and BJP members exchanged heated remarks and TMC members accused the ruling party members of manhandling them in the house.
