New Delhi: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today indirectly confessed that he committed a mistake by saying that the ordinance on convicted lawmakers should be torn or thrown away.
" I have learnt a lesson that it is not polite to say that an ordinance should be torn or thrown away," said Rahul Gandhi while speaking at a FICCI function.
Talking about Congress party's drubbing in recently concluded assembly elections, Rahul said that Congress has a history of rising from adverse situations.
Taking pot shot at media, Rahul sarcastically remarked that good news about UPA government doesn't seem to sell the newspapers these days.
