Moga (Punjab): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is slated to visit Punjab either in third or fourth week of the next month, Punjab Congress General Secretary Fatehjang Singh Bajwa said today.
Fatehjang, younger brother of Punjab Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa, said that Rahul will visit Moga where he will address a state-level rally.
“Though no final date has been fixed for the rally, but most probably Rahul will visit in the 3rd or 4th week of March,” he said.
The proposed rally will be attended by all 43 Congress MLAs of Punjab besides party MP Amarinder Singh, he said. Rahul will take up the issue of land acquisition policies of the UPA government and rights of farmers, he said.
