Lucknow: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will visit his parliamentary constituency Amethi for two days beginning Thursday.
Gandhi will meet villagers in the Uttar Pradesh constituency and interact with Congress workers at the Munshiganj guest house where he will stay, party sources said Tuesday.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi also visited her parliamentary constituency Raebareli and met party workers and villagers Monday. She raised questions about the promises being made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This is Sonia's maiden visit to Raebareli after the polls debacle in May.
But for Rahul, it will be his third visit to Amethi. Earlier he had visited the parliamentary constituency on May 21 along with sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
After that, he again visited Amethi on July 25 and thanked people for their support in the Lok Sabha Elections.
Rahul Gandhi defeated his nearest rival BJP's Smriti Irani from the constituency.
