Under the SAD-BJP government's Atta-Dal scheme, over 30 lakh beneficiaries would be given flour at a rate of Re 1 per kg, Badal said.
The Chief Minister said his government was looking into all the problems faced by industrialists and traders.
Badal also attended a function to mark the birth anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh at his native village Badrukhan in Sangrur district.
In a chat with reporters, Badal said no meeting between him and former CM Surjit Singh Barnala or any of his family members had taken place regarding their plans to rejoin SAD (B) as reported in the media.
Expressing concern over the delay in the installation of bronze statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Chief Minister directed the authorities to expedite the process.
