Prashant is an avid follower of Rahul Gandhi. He fought the Youth Congress polls two years ago by becoming its member, but he didn't like politics. Prashant is however a good cook.

On the possibility of a contest for the post of PM between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi, Prashant says, "I personally feel Narendra Modi is presently ahead of Rahul Gandhi. Modi has proved that he is a leader of Gujarat."
