Amethi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas today alleged that at the behest of Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Uttar Pradesh government was creating hurdles in his ongoing ‘jhadu yatra' (broom procession).
”Earlier Congressmen along with Samajwadi Party showered eggs and lathis on me but when I did not leave Amethi, the state government at the behest of Amethi MP Rahul Gandhi created hurdles in my yatra through the district administration as they wanted me to run away,” Vishwas told mediapersons here.
”In a democracy everyone has the right to express themselves and take out a yatra but the officials here have stooped to goondagardi ... . but I am not the one who gets perturbed.. I will not leave without chasing away the corrupt,” he said.
