New Delhi: Qaisar Ali was ecstatic when he found out that the twitter handle @PMOIndia was available for use. He saved it for himself immediately. Little did he realize that his act will land him into a national controversy.
Today Qaisar Ali, the 19 year old boy from Lucknow, is amused to find himself embroiled in the middle of the 'twittergate' controversy that has erupted after the BJP leaders objected to the renaming of the official twitter handle of the Prime Minister of India - @PMOIndia. The staff of the outgoing PM renamed and archived this twitter handle as @PMOIndiaArchive.
While PMO officials were busy in renaming and archiving the twitter handle @PMOIndia, Qaisar was trying to figure out if a twitter handle in the name of @PMOIndia was available.
He got it and saved it for himself.
