New Delhi: Congress leaders today demanded to punish those who are accused of demolition of Babri structure saying the event “unleashed polarisation” in Indian politics.
“We condemn the demolition of Babri structure today which unleashed the Polarisation in Indian Politics. The accused must be punished,” party general secretary Digvijay Singh said on the micro blogging site Twitter.
Former Union Minister Manish Tewari in his tweet said “22yrs after demolition of Babri Structure accused are in important govt positions & the gentleman under whose watch Gujarat burnt is the PM!”
The remarks of the Congress leaders came on the 22nd anniversay of the demolition.
