Hyderabad, Aug 11: Praja Rajyam leaders would formally take membership of Congress on August 22. A delegation of Praja Rajyam leaders met state Congress party president Botsa Satyanarayana on Wednesday and discussed with him the process of induction of PRP leaders into the ruling party.
Praja Rajyam has already merged with the Congress and its founder Chiranjeevi woud take membership of the ruling party on August 20 in the presence of members of the committee, authorised by party president Sonia Gandhi to handle Congress affairs in her absence.
PRP leader C Ramachandraiah told reporters that the party leaders would take the formal membership of Congress on August 22, which is the birth day of Chiranjeevi. PTI
