The close aide of Narendra Modi said the BJP workers are fighting hard to win Amethi seat and “it will be a neck and neck fight between the BJP and Congress.”
The BJP's Uttar Pradesh in-charge also described as “political vindictiveness” the UPA government's move to appoint a judge to probe snooping scandal against Modi.
There is already a commission formed by the state government to probe the snooping case, he said.
When pointed out that the Centre is not having faith on it, Shah said, “We don't want the Centre's trust in the commission. Secondly, the commission is being formed during elections when the government will be changed at the Centre. So, this is nothing but political vindictiveness.”
