Itanagar, May 6: The People's Party of Arunachal (PPA) has attached top priority on people-centric development with more stress on construction of well designed multi-storeyed residence for employees of all government departments.




The lone regional party from the state which released it election manifesto for the May 16 Itanagar Municipal poll today, said that it would work out modalities for a housing
complex with all modern amenities and safety measures.

The other priority areas of the party's manifesto include installation of transmission, distribution and sub-stations to ensure that consumers are benefited with more reliable uninterrupted and better quality electricity supply, Consumer Grievances Forum for speedy redressal of the grievances relating to electricity, fluorescent street tube
lights and high mast public illuminating system at all junctions and colonies.

 Besides provision of burial/cremation grounds, installation of CCTV cameras in all the vulnerable locations, police points in all sector, development of tourist spots with all basic infrastructures to cater both domestic and foreign tourists and to ensure proper covered drainage system in all localities are the priorities that the party has put up for
the municipality.

 PPA president Kameng Ringu said that the party had fielded 13 candidates for the forthcoming civic poll.

 The party has exuded confidence to win all the seats where it had fielded candidates.

 “We are expecting a better result and to come out stronger than all other parties this time,” party's Youth Wing president Techi James said.
