Posters of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi carried by BJP workers on Monday led to protests by a group of JD(U) activists led by MP Monazir Hasan, reflecting that all was not well in ruling NDA in Bihar. When BJP supporters carrying the posters reached busy Dakbunglow roundabout here, JD(U) workers led by Hasan raised objections against it.
Hasan told the BJP workers that Modi's image was "not tolerable" in Bihar and that they should have refrained from carrying the posters during the joint bandh called to protest fuel price hike by the Centre, JD(U) sources said in Patna.
After heated arguments for some time, both sides dispersed, they said. The workers of the saffron party later burnt an effigy of Hasan. PTI
