New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today urged the opposition to let the Parliament function constructively to fulfill people's expectations from his government.
At the all-party meeting called by the government, the Prime Minister said that his government is willing to discuss any issue in Parliament as long as it is 'constructive'.
He also said that the government is keen on passing the ambitious Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill and other key reforms.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at all party meeting that GST legislation is in the interest of nation. He also said that the Finance Minister will speak to all parties to address their doubt on GST legislation," Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters after the all-party meeting.
