New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's love for the social media is no hidden secret. However, the regular posts and comments that we see on his personal accounts across social media platforms often left people wondering as to who managed these accounts for him.
Turns out that it is none else but the PM himself. According to the Prime Minister's Office, PM Modi personally manages his personal Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The information provided by the PMO came after an RTI query sought to know the name of the individual who managed the popular PM's accounts on social media platforms, a Business Standard report has claimed.
However, the PMO chose not to respond to a question as to who helps the PM send tweets in foreign languages such as Japanese, Hebrew, Mandarin, Russian and Korean, the report added.
Responses to the RTI further revealed that PM Modi and his officers use internet at speeds of 34 Mbps.
PM Modi is the third most followed Twitter personalities from India in 2015. His list of followers has almost quadrupled after he took office in May 2014. It has increased from 4 million to 16.8 million at present, making him the biggest gainer on the top 10 list in 2015.
