Lucknow: Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav Thursday compared crowds at BJP star Narendra Modi's rallies with people who flock to see a dacoit in the ravines of Chambal.
Yadav, a cousin of Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav, also asserted that Modi would never be able to make it as the prime minister of India.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a party rally at Mainpuri, Ram Gopal Yadav told reporters that the Samajwadi Party government would benefit electorally due to its pro-poor and welfare schemes.
Earlier, speaking at the rally held in his Lok Sabha constituency Mainpuri, Mulayam Singh Yadav predicted a "pivotal role" for the Third Front after the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
