New Delhi: In a veiled attack on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi today called upon people of Delhi to vote for BJP saying it can coordinate with the Centre for the city's overall development instead of sitting on dharna.  In a roadshow at Rohini, she also projected herself as the party's face in the polls, promising to bring in lot of changes in people's lives if BJP came to power.  “Ensuring security of women will be top priority,” she said, adding trained volunteers will be inducted to strengthen civil defence forces.

In an apparent attack on Kejriwal, she said the habit of sitting on dharnas and confrontational attitude will never help the city and its people.

If the government goes to Jantar Mantar, then nothing will happen. This time vote for stable government and government with full majority. The government will be of new politics. It will not be a confrontational government. It will be a government of good governance,” she said.  “I have come here to devote myself for Delhi. I am for BJP, there is BJP government in Centre and there is need to bring that in Delhi also. I know administration and I have worked there for years and I have experience also,” she said.  Promising to offer a transparent administration, she asked people to vote for BJP to ensure coordination between Delhi government and the Centre.

“Problem arises when there are differences between Lt Governor and the Chief Minister. They tussle with each other and usually engage in mud slinging. This is not necessary every time.

“We should bring such a government who can coordinate. If there is no coordination between state government and Centre then there will be problems,” she said.  The former cop said Delhi Police personnel are the “happiest” after her joining politics.  “People who are happiest at my coming into politics are Delhi policemen, they have seen how administration worked under me,” Bedi added.
