Ghaziabad: A court here today issued a fresh non-bailable warrant against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray for not appearing before it in connection with a case relating to his alleged inflammatory speech against the people of Bihar.

The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (second) had on May 15 issued a non-bailable warrant against the MNS chief and asked him to appear before it on June 18.

When Thackerey did not appear before the court today, ACJM (second) Ram Karan Yadav issued a fresh non-bailable warrant against him.

The court fixed July 30 for furthering hearing in the case and asked the MNS chief to appear before it on that date. The court had earlier issued bailable warrants against the MNS president four times but he did not appear before it.

On September 12, 2012, advocate Devlal Prasad had filed a case against Thackeray alleging he had made an inflammatory speech against the people of Bihar.
