Noida, Jul 9:In accordance with the Allahabad High Court order, the Noida Authority Board today approved 64.7 per cent hiked compensation to farmers of 16 villages.
Against the total required amount of Rs 1,091 crore for disbursement to farmers under the hiked compensation, the board approved Rs 380 crore and Rs 272 crore, sources said.
The Board also approved lease back of 5.873 hectare land to 349 farmers of Sarafabad, Asgarpur Jagir, Baraula and Sadarpur.
GNIDA informed the Board that ‘ababdi' (residential) land issues of Ghanghola, Kheda, Choganpur, Rijori, Sirsa, Bisrakh, Khodna Khurd, Junpan, jaitpur, Vaishpur, Ajaibpur, Dhada, saini, Khanpur, and Patwari have been resolved to a large extent and remaining ones would be soon resolved.
Lands of about 588 farmers used for residential purposes would be regularised, they said.
