New Delhi: Anna Hazare welcomed Government's revised draft of the Lokpal bill.
Anna had been fasting for five days over the Lokpal bill to be passed by the government until it was presented and amended in Rajya Sabha.
Anna Hazare, happily accepts the 16 conditions written in the Lokpal Bill.
“The bill should be passed at the earliest by both the houses” said Anna.
Kiran Bedi said once the bill has been passed, the CBI would be answerable to the Lokayukta and not the government.
The recommendations of the select committee in regard to Lokpal bill should also be passed in the Rajya Sabha, Anna said.
The differences between Anna's team and AAP come to fore as Kiran Bedi calls AAP chief , Kejriwal a ‘bachha'.
Anna wants bill, but AAP wants to make it an issue because they are now a political party, said Kiran Bedi.
“I'm old and experienced enough to know what is wrong and what is right….nobody is misleading me on Lokpal bill.” Anna said.
Bill once passed should be made into a law before the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
