“Till Congress is not removed, your life could not become better,” Gadkari said.

Taking a dig at Congress, he said “From Nehru to Sonia Gandhi everyone has given the same slogan Garibi Hatao. Now Rahul Gandhi is also saying the same thing. But if anyone has become rich, then it is Congress's son-in-law and party leaders.”

Besides Gadkari, the function was attended by Delhi unit BJP chief Vijay Goel, Harsh Vardhan, who is being projected as the chief ministerial candidate for Assembly polls, and Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari, who has recently joined the party.
