RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Saturday expressed happiness over Congress' win in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh assembly polls, but said it would be a "big blunder" to treat the victory as return of one-party rule in the country.
"It will be a big blunder to regard the victory as return of one-party rule politics before 1995," Prasad told reporters in Patna .
The RJD leader said the presence of several opposition parties was instrumental behind the good show pulled off by the Congress.
Expressing happiness over the Congress' win, Prasad said, "The three states have been the party's strongholds...and no alternative to the Congress was forged there," he said. PTI
