Earlier, the workers had also held demonstration outside SP headquarters here demanding ticket to Mulayam's son Prateek Yadav after Balram's name was finalised from the seat last year.
About Lok Sabha polls, Shivpal said that the target of SP was to keep corrupt and communal forces at bay from the Centre and form Third Front's government there.
“We are emphasising on winning maximum number of seats in Uttar Pradesh to form third front government in which SP will have a say”, he added.
