Patna: Five ministers supporting Nitish Kumar will soon resign from the government. The ministers who are to resign are Ramai Ram, Dulal Chand Goswami, Manoj Kushwaha, Naushad Aalm, and Ramlakhan Ramraman.
The decision of the ministers came after Chief Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi recommended the dismissal of 15 ministers from his cabinet to the governor.
The chief minister wrote a letter to the governor recommending the dismissal of the ministers who were in support of Nitish Kumar. The ministers are, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Damodar Raut, Narendra Narayan Yadav, Shyam Rajak, Awadhesh Prasad Kushwaha, Lesie Singh, Shrawan Kumar, Ramdhani Singh, Jai Kumar Singh, Javed Iqbal Ansari, Bima Bharti, Ranju Gita, Baidyanath Sahni and Vinod Prasad Yadav.
In the letter addressed to the governor Keshri Nath Tripathi, Manjhi also said that only the chief minister has the right to call the meeting of the MLAs and the decisions taken by Sharad Yadav are null.
Meanwhile the party leadership has suspended Manjhi.
