Patna: Nitish Kumar will take the oath as chief minister of Bihar on November 20. The swearing in ceremony will be organised at the Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
According to reports, the new cabinet will have 15 MLAs from JD(U), 16 from RJD and 6 from Congress party. According to the constitution, 36 ministers, including the chief minister, can be included in the new cabinet.
The leader of the alliance will be elected at a meeting in Patna of newly-elected legislators on Sunday.
The Mahagathbandhan registered a stunning victory in Bihar Polls by winning 178 seats, or a two-third majority, in the 243-member assembly. The BJP and its allies got a mere 58 seats.
