Modi's supporters trying to muzzle dissent like Nazis, alleges Bihar CM Nitish Kumar in Aap Ki Adalat

New Delhi: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has lashed out at supporters of former ally BJP for, what he said, "trying to muzzle dissent" through the social media. Appearing in Rajat Sharma's Aap Ki Adalat

He said, RJD and BJP may go in for "a tactical understanding" during the next Lok Sabha polls in order to damage Janata Dal (United).

The Bihar strongman, without naming Modi, said his party walked out of the NDA only because the BJP was adamant on raising divisive issues.

"Our alliance with the BJP lasted 17 years. This alliance was based on basic issues. It was clearly stated that divisive issues shall be kept at bay. Whenever there is an alliance, one party shows respect to the other and there are some basic understandings, but the BJP deviated from that", said Nitish Kumar.

The Bihar chief minister said he was deeply pained over the death of schoolchildren in the midday meal tragedy. "We have decided to erect a memorial for the children. We will also build roads and a high school in that village", he said.

Aap Ki Adalat with Nitish Kumar will be telecast on India TV on Saturday Sept 21 at 10 pm and on Sunday Sept 22 at 10 am and 10 pm.
