The plan for construction of a convention centre on the line of Delhi's “Vigyan bhawan” was approved three years ago and BJP was party to it. As part of the plan the college has been given a more wider entry road by from right side.
“But, BJP leaders are feeding wrong information among faculty and students now to provoke them to agitate against the government,” he told reporters in his Assembly chamber.
JD(U) sources alleged that wife of former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who is a lecturer in the college, has been instrumental in fanning rumours among college staff and students against the government.
“This reflects anti-development attitude of the BJP,” the CM said.
Kumar said his late wife Manju Sinha was a student of the same college and he used to visit the place after marriage hence he could never think of harming its interest.
